I started Ol Kentuck in the spring of 2011 as a way to help release some of the beautiful projects that I saw happening all around me. Specifically, there was this collection of lullaby songs by Maiden Radio that was never slated, in their minds, for any kind of wider release, but that I felt strongly about getting out into the world as best we could. I talked them into letting it be OK's very first project. And that's basically the heart of the label, finding great stuff and bringing it to you, dear listener. I sincerely hope you like what you hear and that you will support the artists who make it.
